Our Beliefs
-Children and learning are the focus of our school.
-Education is a partnership between home and school.
-Our environment is positive and inclusive.
-Our environment is holistic valuing children’s’ academic, social and life skills, families, community and culture.
-The school aims to provide quality teaching with staff that actively develop positive relationships with students and who are positive role models supporting and empowering learners.
-Language and culture will be recognised as an important part of Joka Perfect School.
-The school has a behaviour plan linked to our school values that emphasises ‘Taking Responsibility’ that is fair and consistent and parents/caregivers will be involved and informed.
-Children will respect themselves, staff, peers and property.
-Learning should be appropriate, challenging and planned, to meet the needs of children.
-Cultures are valued at Joka Perfect School and children will develop a wide appreciation of the differences and similarities leading to a respect for one another.
-The school will respect and provide opportunities for ‘children’s voice’ to make learning and the school environment exciting and challenging.
